We will accept and review applications from any source and will assess them in line with our charitable objectives and circumstances of the individual. In the first instance, it's best to give us a call or an email to see whether the person you are looking to refer does meet our criteria.

We try and help as many people as we can and will always review and discuss all referrals with the individuals and/or their support network. Please note that all referrals must be signed off by a statutory body (i.e. social services, GP, CPN, police or local authority) regardless of where the referral comes from. 

Some of our standard referral routes include:

  • Via an existing support provider – either as part of a formal bid/tender process as a partner or on an individual basis outside of tendering. We are always keen to play an active role in the tender process as a partner to support providers and appreciate that a partnership of housing and support is a benefit to the commissioner as well as the service user.
  • Via the local authority – we will accept tenant referrals through the local authority but normally a personal budget and support plan must already be in place.
  • Families/individuals/support groups – we work closely with families who have vulnerable people living with them to help them move into independent supported living, and take referrals directly from individuals as well as their local support groups.
